20 Mexican executives visited Wittenberg on their "Study Mission 2025" on October 7, 2025.
"𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐛𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐠𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬"? This key question was at the heart of this year’s visit by a delegation from Mexico at the WCGE: Twenty executives from various industries and associations came together to share their experiences of balancing shared values with the realities of everyday business life. Despite challenging circumstances in their region, they continue to drive forward their initiative inspired by WCGE’s work on purpose-driven business for the people.
Martin von Broock supported the exchange by sharing insights from WCGE’s most recent findings. It is encouraging to see that our ideas are continuing to grow and take root in Mexico.
This year’s visit also marked a special milestone: for the tenth time, the Mexican delegation visited WCGE. Over the years, this ongoing exchange and international dialogue has evolved into a genuine partnership, characterized by mutual learning and long-term commitment.
Our heartfelt thanks go to Joachim Elsaesser (BDI - Bundesverband der Deutschen Industrie e.V./Partnership for Sustainable Industrial Development Germany – Pacific Alliance) for fostering the connection between WCGE and COPARMEX, the Mexican Employers' association, since 2015. We also extend our appreciation to all participants of the “Study Mission 2025” for their valuable contributions and dedication.
We look forward to continuing this meaningful dialogue and to seeing the next steps of this longstanding cooperation unfold.
