On September 21, 2017 representatives of companies and associations from Mexico, Colombia and Peru visited the WCGE.
The study mission based on the motto "Sustainable Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Business Ethics" took place as part of the "Don Lorenzo Servitje Program," in which every year excellent and responsible young entrepreneurs are honored and invited to Germany. The program is part of the Innovation Partnership between Germany, Mexico and the Pacific Alliance, which is coordinated on the German side by the BDI.
At the WCGE the participants received an introduction to the approach of global (economic) ethics as well as the program of the center. The focus was on the initiative "Code of Responsible Conduct for Business." Based on this, the participants formed working groups and developed starting points for similar initiatives in their home countries. At the same time, options for bilateral ethics programs for young leaders and executives were explored.
Further stations of the two-week study trip were Munich, Friedrichshafen, Erlangen, Cologne and Berlin, where they participated in the Day of German Industry.
